Current Working Accounts
deathdog@freeshell.org - As of 2/26/04, this is my new main email account. $36 for lifetime shell access can't be beat. Essentially, the service they're providing is the same as IO's, but free. Send any email you want me to read here. The actual domain is sdf.freeshell.org, and I think lonestar.org works, too, but stick with the basic domain.
bradeverman@gmail.com - I also have deathdog@gmail, and could probably get a crapload more accounts if I wished (I have around 200 invites left). I never really used this thing, but I probably should. As of around 6/1/06, I use Gmail exclusively. All my freeshell mail goes there because I was sick of procmail/spamassassin not filtering out all the junk the way it should have. Gmail is pretty transparent in the way it handles forwards, so the freeshell account is still my "real" personal email.
bradeverman@aggienetwork.com - I just created this on 10/7/06 as it's essentially just a free forward service, and I also figured since I'm a Former Student that it was worth it. I'll probably give this out to people who say they went to Texas.
mortchien@yahoo.com - Doesn't everyone have a Yahoo account? I mean, come on, they're free...I mostly use this account when I need a real email address to use (say to sign up for a free software trial and they send you a password) but know that I'm going to get spammed.
deathdog@tamu.edu - This is an alias to my Neo Mail at A&M (the others being bradeverman@tamu.edu, bradeverman@neo.tamu.edu and deathdog@neo.tamu.edu). I probably check it every week or so, but mainly use it for school. Like the account above, kinda weird how everything turns full circle. Now that I graduated (the second time) I'm wondering how long it will take for this to be deactivated.
X@truculent.org/brad@thescurrilous.com - truculent is my (new) personal domain, so I have essentially infinite accounts. All email goes to freeshell, which in turn goes to Gmail. Wow. thescurrilous is my band's webpage, but I have yet to actually get an email at that address. Mark uses it as his primary email, which is quite strange to be honest.
beverman@t-m-a.com - New work email. I started here on 9/11/06 and this is the address they gave me. So far, only one email, and probably not much more than that as long as I work here.
brad.everman@unix.net - Another free forward service. Since
they don't allow Gmail, I have it sent to the Aggienetwork
account...which in turn is sent to Gmail. Heh.
brad@cs.tamu.edu - Being officially part of the CS Department, I changed my login name to something less retarded. Looks like it's been deactivated, around 10/6/06.
bwe9961@unix.tamu.edu - See above. It's weird, but this is now a valid account as I reactivated it not too long ago. Funny how my sorta second email account (and the only one I really ever used at A&M) has made a comeback. Life is kinda cool sometimes. I'll never check this, so don't bother to send any email here. I just realized it's forwarding mail to the @tamu address. I guess I should check this stuff out sometimes. See above, no longer works.
bwe9961@cs.tamu.edu - Goes to my CS account (the actual address is bwe9961@unix.cs.tamu.edu, but the CS department has it aliased). This is forwarded to the deathdog@tamu account, so who cares. Wrong, the forward has never worked, so I just didn't check it...well, it's a lie, I actually DO check this sometimes, mostly because I'm on the CS grad students mailing list and they have all sorts of parties and stuff. I just got the forward to work...finally. I changed this to something easier to type.
b-everman@philosophy.tamu.edu - I actually had this email address when I arrived at A&M for grad school, but was unaware of its existence my first semester due to an utter lack of communcation on the part of my department. Anyway, it's forwarded to deathdog@tamu, no big deal (although it does have a certain quality of coolness to it). As of 10/6/06, looks like it is gone. The files are still there, though (maybe).
deathdog@io.com - My "real" email account. Send anything here if you want me to actually read it. As of now (7/24/02), I have checked this account 47 million times (or close to that). I keep trying to change to a different email account but after three years (the longest I've ever had the same address), it's hard. On 2/26/04, I decided I'd kept this account around long enough and didn't feel like paying $10 a month anymore (this had a lot to do with the fact that Illuminati Online became IOCOM, losing any sort of appeal it once had). Five years at that same email address, sorry to see it go. As of today (8/3/04), looks like IOCOM was acquired by Prismnet on 7/29/04. Appears I stopped using IO at the right time.
deathdog@carnabycreek.com - brad@carnabycreek.com forwards to this account. Domain hosted by my friend John...I used it a few times when I was trying to look better with a nicer email address (the brad one) when applying for jobs, but then I figured I didn't give a crap. I think John has let this lapse into obscurity, so probably no longer working.
deathdog@digladio.org - Doesn't work right now, but the primary email address for my new domain. I think digladio.org is a lot better than cyberjackass or deathdog.com, even though it's probably just as offensive. I stopped renewing the domain, therefore this doesn't exist anymore.
bwe9961@acs.tamu.edu - There were actually 5 machines in the VAX/VMS cluster: Venus, Zeus, Rigel, Summa, Sigma. I *think* Sigma was one of them, I forget. Anyways, this meant that a user actually has 6 email address for the one VMS account, i.e. bwe9961@zeus.tamu.edu worked okay. This was my first account, and lemme tell you that VMS blows ass. I had all this mail forwarded to my unix account once someone showed it to me and helped me create an account. I once tried to read the VMS users guide in the RCC beneath Evans library. It was about 9 feet long. I think I was the only person ever to actually read the whole thing, not even the admin had read it. It helped me in absolutely no way.
bwe9961@tamuts.tamu.edu - My first real unix shell account, I got it because the VMS admin was cracking down on mud usage during the day, but the unix admin on this system didn't care.
bwe9961@tamsun.tamu.edu - I got this unix account sometime after the first because Tamuts wouldn't compile Angband or Moria properly, and dammit, I wanted to play that game. All A&M accounts I had were forwarded to this account because I thought it was easier to check.
bwe9961@eagle.cs.tamu.edu, bagend.cs.tamu.edu, bilbo.cs.tamu.edu - These were all aliases for the same system, the primary one being eagle. This account was used for CS students for special projects, i.e. homework. I ended up compiling my own IRC server and client on it, which caused the admin to mail me a few times about "proper use of computing resources". Loads of fun.
Unix.tamu.edu eventually became an alias for tamsun, but I never used it. Another alias was deathdog@tamu.edu, which got forwarded to tamsun, but this was never used either. Never used meaning I never gave it out, but it did work.
deathdog@fc.sa.tx.us - After I left A&M, this was an account I used on a free BBS called Flying Circus. All users were given internet addresses, and could receive and send internet mail. It was pretty cool for free. This was well before ISP became a household word. Of course, since FC was a BBS it had login time limits, but this was easily circumvented by playing Piggy to double your time repeatedly, then storing it in the timebank. My brother had, at one time, 25,000 minutes I think. Such history...
deathdog@netxpress.com - The first ISP I had; okay service, had a free homepage I used on some lameass piece of shit. I think the link is still active, actually.
deathdog@stic.net - STIC was and is a good ISP, in fact I signed my parents up with them. This address became notorious, almost as bad as my unix account at A&M.
brad_evermann@polymedia.de - Most of the time I just used the rocketmail account at Polymedia, but this was my official email account. Damn Germans, they spelt my name with an extra 'n'. I thought it was funny so I never had them change it.
deathdog@flash.net - I got Flash.net because my friend was "selling" it in that MLM scam, and also because I wanted internet access in Round Rock immediately. Flash.net wasn't a very good ISP, I don't think. They tend to dick around too much and talk about how great they are. It's a scam.
brad_everman@dell.com - During my time working at Dell, this was a valid account. I used it only for "official business purposes", which means I didn't try to pirate software or trade MP3's with it. Well, not too much, anyways.
deathdog@satx.net - All mail to any of my satx.net/intersatx.net email got sent here. Since I no longer work for these assholes, this is defunct.
deathdog@intersatx.net - An alias for the above. Actually, satx is an alias for intersatx, but currently satx is the "real" domain. Whatever that means.
brad@satx.net, vatoloco@satx.net, defdog@satx.net - All these were forwarded to deathdog. Since I could create accounts on a whim, I went ahead and gave myself a bunch of useless accounts just for fun.
beverman@globalscape.com - My account for work. Wow! Addendum: I forgot that beverman@atsi.net and beverman@globalscape.net were both functional email accounts. Not like I really care. beverman@cuteftp.com, beverman@cutemx.com, beverman@cutehtml.com all work (I think). When you have 20 or so domain names aliased to one, you tend to have a lot of email accounts. As of 6/15/00, this email is defunct. Had to be the fact that I quit (finally).
beverman@jaggedjigsaw.com - This account is for JaggedJigsaw LLC., of which I am a partner. It's forwarded to IO, so there's really no point in sending email here...it's mostly to look "professional". (As of 10/00, we no longer use this).
brad@protexas.net - JaggedJigsaw was disbanded and Professional Internet of Texas was founded. This email address actually gets forwarded to deathdog@protexas.net and my pager. No longer working.
deathdog@rocketmail.com - I got this before I went to Germany so I could have an account that would work anywhere. Shortly thereafter I used it primarily for job-seeking, and it remains that to this day. Don't send me mail here unless you want to hire me, and even then I probably won't read it for a week or so unless I'm expecting it. Defunct now since Yahoo took over Rocketmail and disabled it. Yee haw.
beverman@runner.utsa.edu - This is an alias for runner.jpl.utsa.edu, but I dunno anyone who actually uses that. All the email from any of my UTSA accounts will be forwarded here. It's my second choice for receiving any personal email. Doesn't work anymore.
beverman@lonestar.utsa.edu - Once again, an alias for lonestar.jpl.utsa.edu. It gets forwarded to runner, so send if you want to. Or don't, since I can't access the damn thing. Nor do I really care since I never used the account anyways.
beverman@ringer.cs.utsa.edu - This doesn't work anymore, supposedly, but I think it still forwards mail. Don't send anything here unless you want to fuck around with your email client. See above.
beverman@austin.ibm.com & beverman@us.ibm.com - Work account. Don't send me anything here if it is personal. Especially now since I no longer work there. Don't you just love a recession?
deathdog@realrankings.com - I just added this one, but it's been active for like a year. It's just an alias anyways. Useless since my "friend" Steve doesn't want to do the webpage anymore. I have no clue why, but he's being a royal jackass.
deathdog@deathdog.com - I finally set this up as an alias to deathdog@io.com...No longer working as I let the domain run out.
deathdog@cyberjackass.com - Had this one for a while, never acutally used it. Since I own it, email accounts to this domain are limitless. No longer works as the domain has expired. I thought it was a brilliant domain name until I figured noone would ever take it seriously (like they take my moniker seriously!!?).
bradeverman@hotmail.com - I'm listing this to be complete, but I
never used this. I set it up to look more "professional" or whatever, but
it's useless. I never gave the address out, yet got 500 porn spam emails
in a month. What a fucking waste of time...
Accounts I don't use
Most likely, none of these work anymore as of 07/24/2002.
deathdog@tokyo.com - Just made this (09/26/00) for fun. Who cares.
deathdog@netscape.com - I made this for fun. Don't send email here.
deathdog@start.com.au - A free email account from Australia. I made it so I can send mail to people who will say "Wow, he is in Australia!" Actually, they probably think I'm insane, which might be true.
analsex@usa.net - I made this one for fun, too. Why? I HAVE NO FUCKING CLUE!
realrankings@rocketmail.com - This is actually for the realrankings homepage, and generally Steve checks it. I never read the mail here unless he tells me to (sometimes I get fan mail...)
deathdog@hotmail.com - This was made at one time to reserve the name, that's about it. I think I sent some email once or twice.
jimbob666@yahoo.com - For ONE joke. I have way too much time to dick around...
There are probably more email accounts I have. I have made so many hotmail accounts it's not funny. Most of them still work, but I don't know the passwords or logins, so ohhh well.
